The good folks(david)at Sun Race sent out this hub so I can build up a wheel for the Pace carbon fork.. Nice looking stuff light weight and strong can't wait to get it built

So like my bikes I have three different types of Nordic skis.. I have the downhill tele skis that I am using less and less, and I have my skate skis that I find is a great workout.. The Gnome compares skate skiing to road biking.. Then I have my classic touring skis, The longest in the quiver at 210cm and no edges. So today I went out with C ball, dirk diggler and the blond doctor. We skied the peaks trail,. Nice to get out and do something different and my legs responded to what I wanted them to do.. I just felt like a road rider on his first mountain bike ride. My skis being what they are take a little more work to make them move. A little over 2 hours and we were done, better than going and hitting the rollers again. I hope that I can get out on my skate skis tomorrow and get in some more road biking..

Fuckneckvill

If you can't even walk up the hike what makes you think that you can ski it? I am not trying to be the boss of the hill but people from fuckneckvill are messing up the lake chutes. That aside I need to just ride bikes now and not worrie about the ski hill.. Got to ski with BP yesterday and it was nice to skate with someone, legs felt good after the spin class. More snow to come. What to do need to get the house ready for the move.. To powder ski or to not....

Facial Tick

Work has been good and not the stuff that I have to punch the clock for.. The motivation is flooding my mind and I can't wait till the gloves come off and and the shit is on like donkey kong. Anna is going to wisco next week to meet the folks who want her to work at hospital and I think that I'll be heading down to the Dean headquarters to meet with the big cheese. The wheels are turning will their be dirt soon?

Where to start................ The wind and snow on friday was something else.. When I left for work at 5:30 their was not much going on.. By 6:30 their was 3 to 5 inches on the ground,,, then the wind started and it blew and blew and then some more....So no one really got to ski up high on friday everything was shut down... Saturday morning I was out the door going to get as much as i could take... I was in all the right places at all the right times..Frist tracks down tiger and southern cross..1st down Inferino trees and other spots on e chair.. And 1st into contest bowl it had been years that I had to bust out the line to the bowl... Then to top off the day and by far the best snow was the frist line down window #2... Perfect snow fast skiing and face shots the whole way down,...,., Now I am read to sell the powder skis, dont need them time to ride and race bikes the snow has come and don't care if I get it again.. After all that went down to the folks house for t bone stakes and crab legs.. I think that they are sad that we are moving.. Got good work in today on the raod bike with over 3000 feet of climbing and only a bit of snow and water on the road, and now I am home drinking beer and thinking about having to go to work tomrrow.. I don't hate mondays just don't like the thought of having to go back to work.. Skate ski on monday and I;ll try another spin class.. what ever works...

Not the worst thing in the world I think that I can do the same on the rollers at home but it is nice to have a little push and a little hey go faster.. I can do this but to with the same effect. All in all it was goood... Snow is falling that could mean skiing will be good again just need to get the tele boot fixed.. We'll see what happens things fell good now they just nedd to fell better. Have you ever gone to sleep with Bo Derick and woke up with Bobby Lee??????

Back in the saddle

More of the same as last night.. Coach came out with me this time, warmer than the ride last night felt like it could rain.. Good work and it just felt soo go to be out again on a bike.. Cooking up a pork tender with tuscon white bean and tomato.. I think that the Italian food is some of the best around,,,better than that french stuff,, And i am not talking about that noodles you get when you go out to eat the real Italian food that is cooked by folks in the country.. Lets see what the week brings.. might try a spin class on wed.. I might be out of my relm but worth a try..

Hott like the Sun

I had to get outside and because the snow is not good for any kind of skiing,and I could not ride the rollers, and because I had to get outside.. I went for a short loop on the Wily and damm i had a great time it was almost like ridign in the summer minus all the extra layers. I had on the right amount of layers and because of the traffic on the roads I was able to all the way over sally baber and back down to town.. All in all it wa 10 miles in a hour. It was nice to be out on a bike I know what i'll be up to in the next few days....

Soft snow and big hills

My day and what a warm sunny day it was. Went out for a nordic ski and it felt so good. Did the siberian loop and did it with out having to stop which is a lot I think a lot of hills. The photos are of the Cabin that is on the nordic loop it looks line a nice place to spend a night. And the one of the dog and lady well the dog tried to hurd me so it bit my calf. No blood or broken skin just ripped pants which she said she would pay for but they can be fixed.. I like dogs just sometimes wounder if they need to go every where the owner goes? New DIRT RAG came today!!!!!!!!!!!Some eye candy...

Huh

Below zero last friday and saturday and today 44 strange can't decide if it wants to be winter or spring.. I think the ideal world would be spring everyday.. Tyler got out and raced today in europe dose not sould like he went for the stage win don't want them to think he has funny blood in the first race. Good skate ski yesterday and some roller to fill in the gaps. Went to the mountain on sunday to show folks how it is done and was killing it untill the toe buckel on my boots blew up. Need to fix that one and I think that it is time to sell the powder skis. Need the money for bike stuff plus it is fun to have to work when turning. Things might be breaking loose in frutia so some bikes might have to go that way or down to New Mex and check out Matt and all his wheeled freaks. The norba in scottsdale is going to be here before we know it.. If only my bride wanted to go back to Flagstaff.. Warm snow rocks mountains and sometimes water... Oh well.....

wendy where did we go wrong

Two day with out the upper mountain open due to wind. This morning breck said they had 108 mph at the top of the hill. If the wind stops and the lifts open it could be one of those days that the snow is three feet here and 0 feet over there. My brother said that the snow is going off in Toas. Soon the dry will come and bike will come out. Check out the Gnome and his fun with skate skis.

Damm cold this morning for the ride in -28 tomrrow they are sying a high of 1 so that means the ride in is going ot cold.. Better cover the nose....
