The hills above the
St Mary campus was glistening
with a half inch of fresh snow.
It was just enough along with the cold
temps to make things a bit slow.
I could feel the difference in the boots
and skis. The
new sticks want to go fast and the bit of
hang up that they got from the fresh was slowing down that
goal.
Every thing was groomed and groomed well,
the hills of SMU don't stop.
Lots of climbing lots of
climbing.
Now the deep freeze is setting in
so cold that skiing may be unpleasant.
So far so good.
