Creaky

Just got done going over the bike, I had a creak the whole race and I knew where it was coming from just not to what extent. I have issues with chain ring bolts and yesterday was not different. Upon inspection I had almost lost a bolt and had my ring shift pretty far. I'll try to get it lock down, before I go back in to the hills tomorrow. The trails are now open so that means that we can ride singletrack. That is a great thing. On the fence about the Sunday my brain says go but the married guy in me says that it might not be a good idea, if I don't it will be a while until the next race and I want to build on where I ended up yesterday. One down

One down, the first test went well. I lined up one row behind the pro's and had a good start. I spent the first lap trying to get some separation from the chasers. After that just got in the grove, yes i would have liked to go faster but their is room for improvement. Crossed the line and ended up in third for the 30-39 age group and 13th overall. Not bad have not raced an age group race in years, been in a single class for the past 4 years. Thanks to all the great people that helped along the way Thompson, Egron, Twin Six and King Cage ( never launched a bottle). Big things coming thanks to the CO Boys, wish that Next sundays race was not on Mothers day need to figure that one out.

Trying to fill the voids and put it all together, yet another night of world champions and I am on my own program. Tonight was another climb up the quarry road and then down tnt and back up. Good climbs almost got the up clean on tnt. Stiff gear for such a climb. More shit weather so it was nice to see the sun. Mind melt on hockey !!!

Why does 13 have to suck?

Sailing on

With the trails still closed and every one from the shop off racing I was on my own.(same as it ever was) I was up in the quarry do some repeats but more than that I was riding my mountain bike and loving it. Much better than yesterday with no wind and good legs. Yesterday I had to deliver the mail going up the 22%+ road grade today straight up. Did some laps and ran into a customer who was out on his new EX8 and loving it. Even with the trails closed we have moved some high end bikes sold the last Superfly on friday and we can't get any more. Registered for next weekend and I hope that I can bring the noise. More quality this week not to worried about quantity would love to do the tuesday night worlds but can't make the times work.

Spoke to the old boss man today he sent me a picture of his new Rig. Nice looking stuff, also riding Spot is Tall Travis so the 80424 is well stacked for single speed racing. Nice to see that they got their bikes, that would be a nice felling. Go fast guys .

Sufferspring

Winter feels like it is back the word wind chill was used today as I got ready to head out. More than anything I just need time on the MTB, to see if things felt right and to see if I could turn the legs over. I fell old and slow but that might be all in my head, hard to fell fast with 30mhp+ winds. The gear selection was fast on the flats and took a bit of power for going up. If the rain ever stops we should be able to ride single track, until then state trails and old quarry roads. 7 more days and it starts, Need more quality saddle time.

help wanted

Need help to build an Arc. Need strong and dependable builders who have some Nautical knowledge. Or the ability to control the rain, to much of of good thing. At least things are green. The boy has his first pair of Vans and is the most excited he has ever been about shoes, think it is genetic.

Rounded Well

A shit crap day of water falling from the sky, so I headed in to work to get the race bike dialed. After a bit of tweaking and cutting of steer tube it was set. No bike lust but that will come I had to get out while the getting was good. More shit weather coming ,,,,hoping that i can get out and ride just have to wait and see.

Balancing Act

One week lots and the next nots... Dam weather is always out to get me the balance is hard to get. And now rice is being rationed. Maybe we should become cannibal's this could solve some issues. One more week and the gloves are dropped. The guys from the shop are going to Iowa this weekend for a race but not me, snow/rain and low 40's for temps, think I'll wait for Iola.

for the hill repeats today!

Got out the house on time food in the belly and legs ready to push the

66 inches of chain up granddads as many times

as I could. Getting to the top the first time

felt a few drops, as I looked over my shoulder all i could think

is I am going to get wet. Holy shit it was coming down so hard it was

almost impossible to see, skies were pitch black and large

drops of hail were falling, thought that my lip would swell from one of the shots

to the face I took.

Made it to the shop and changed in to dry warm clothes, now

if only every thing can dry for the ride home.

ADD

I have a hard time not doing. But sometimes that is just the way it goes. With the warmer temps and longer days playing with the kids has been fun. The boy is starting to figure the bike out and having more fun. I'll get out this week, need to get the MTB dialed. Spring is good.

KOM

Got out with some of the Grumpy Ogers today for 100K of sweet riding. Rode on a bunch of roads that I had not ridden on yet and I was impressed. Started with a climb in to a big cloud to our first set of intervals along some rolling hills along the ridge top. Great climbing felt great there and good on the rollers the place where I hurt was the high speed pace line into the wind. Did not feel like I could take long pulls. That is ok I know where I need to work and now that the Base is done it is time to eat my Brussels Sprouts. Got to see Chad's new BH in motion and Bob's Ritchey was classic. Good day better day than the barn that no longer stands. Nothing like riding a bike to make a good sunday.

Made it out before the rain that has over taken the state, sunny and nice and only a bit of wind. I have a nice loop that I can do from the house and climb 3-6 hill with out having to be gone all day. Just a hair under 2000 feet of climbing and lots of cows. I swear that they are looking at me funny. I don't know what it is like where you live but the dam gas prices have now gone up to 3.45. They have gone up 20 cents in a few weeks. I need to get better at commuting in the rain because I don't want to pay those prices. This could make getting to races expensive. I have to say we have some nice roads around here, clean and for the most part quite. Got to listen to hockey on the internet radio. Who to cheer for?

Lusty dirt

The gutter ball effect has been in full force and I have been paying the price. Yesterday was so bad that coming home with the boy in the trailer i felt as if I was going to come to a stop. Good legs and time in the saddle now just need to get more on the mountain bike. Went for a quick spin up to quarry tonight and bike rode well now it just needs some TLC at the shop. Two weeks and we race, can't wait I would like some speed time but that may come in race day, it is hard for me to make it tuesday night worlds. Oh well I'll just keep riding into the head wind.

Speedy

Good start to the week a few times up the old granddads, to start the morning still need more time, still chili in the morning so hard to motivate before 6:30 but one must try. Coach said that he has not seen any photos lately and the only reason it has been so windy don't want to take the hands of the bars, so much so that I forget to drink and eat, which is probably why the food store was so hard yesterday. Still no word on the new frames and I fell awful for that I hope soon because the sponsors and guys have been so good with the support so Matt and Travis, hang in. Big debate is to go out again after Anna gets home or rest and have a beer and get up and do it all over again tomorrow.

Good Foot

After a week of shit weather and recovery from the bug from the kids I was happy to get outside. First I must say that if you have any foot issues or need to take up some room in your cycling shoes you need to check out soles insoles. I put some in my road shoes and man what a difference. My feet we so happy on my ride today. The rest of me well still not sure their, the dam wind was blowing and made it another day of wind resistance. 2 hours of tempo and some good hills was all i had time for but it was nice to be in the sun. I also got to try out the new arm warmers sent by sock guy and they did a great job of keeping me warm and dry. The weather is going to be spring in full force so I am going to try to pile on the miles. First race will be here before I know it, I have not been on my Wily yet which is the latest every for the spring, I am ready or at least i hope so.

Off da

Glad that I made it out yesterday before the rain. Just north of here they received almost a foot of snow with more on the way, we are on the rain/snow line. So day of the bike first one in three weeks, I may get twitchy later and end up on the rollers for a bit but I am going to try to stand by my convictions and not do it. The wind last night was a lot like what would happen at 9600 feet. It was so strong that it move my grill across the deck and pick up my outside table and smashed it against the house. Sunday should be the next outside day we'll see what the weather has in store. Got to love spring.

Heady

Missed the rain, when I woke this morning the sky's were dry but their friend the wind was in full affect. I did not want to ride indoors so out I went. With gust of 25+ out of the east that is the way I headed. Good hills and lots of resistance I pushed on. I can still fell the crud but it is on the way out, don't like the weezing sound but I am on the up swing. Lots of rain and snow on the way, looking like a prefect storm for the midwest. I hope for no flooding.

The kicker is one of the fine folks that are

here in the bike shop decided to F#$^ with my

coffee mug so now I have a thermos of hot coffee and nothing to drink it out of.

It is going to be one of these days.

On a lighter note the home is coming a lot better than

expected.

The head and chest have been thick with the evil virus that the kidlets brought home. The clouds have been thick also with all kind of weather, it has felt like spring at 9600 feet. The next few day are going to be interesting. Rest is good it takes an act of nature to stop me some times. Because of my ADD i would keep riding my self into the ground. No H8ter for me have to work, sounds like it could be a sloppy day in madtown.

I have managed to make it this far all the way through winter with out a sniffle or sneeze. Leave it to my kids to bring something home. But I have been able to work through with some good riding. This week was all about climbing,so that is what i did. I spend most if not all of my time on the bike riding solo not having anyone to ride with, today would have been a good day for drafting. I made it to the spot where the group was going to meet and waited for a few and their was no one there. So I pressed on. Rode some new roads and some old climbed some hills and got blasted by the wind. Happy with the performance epically because of the crap in my chest. If I was back home I would have had a handful of people to ride with and now this is home and just need to get used to the wind because no one is going to sit up front for me. One of these weekends I''ll have to go to the twin cities and ride with J Roy or the Hollywood crew. Tomorrow is monday and it starts all over again. In less then a month the racing begins.

Fish with wings

I decided to start riding the new wheels, for the road bike. I was going to wait until the Gunnar was ready to go but the Reynolds wheels that I have been running scare me. So far so good on the new ones smooth and fast, my boss said they aren't as nice as carbon but oh well not the biggest fan of carbon. It has almost been a year since we have moved and a lot has happened with us and their is a lot that I miss, from the old hood and having people to ride with and..... I miss my old house but that may change as we have put in an offer on a house tonight. We'll see what happens nice size and a new build. Weather is only getting warmer and i hope for more seat time and with the race season coming i hope that i am going to be ready. More and more miles to come.

I think that i will tire up my new road wheels and

ride them for a bit on the Lemond. The new road bike is still a ways

out see that I am not sure when the Drive train will make it?

New layers have shown from the HQ, good looking stuff. The weather has sure blown though a dusting of snow on the ground trying to decide how to make it to work. The car moved well yesterday and the tank of gas was the one that i put in at the beginning of march. Start of a new month with new focus. Temps on the rise, time to shed like a snake, and see how every things add up.

Dressed well and it was even warm not sunny but warm i'll take it. Also did not get any flats so win win. Did not have as much time as I wanted but I made due with I had. 4 Climbs and good movement. The single cross is moving better now with the new chain and with all the climbing it should be broken in. Weather this week and warmer temps. Looks like the gravel trails in the area are drying out so I'll get out and do some bike practice on those weather permitting. Go Fast and enjoy spring.

Flat City

To many flats in one week. Todays was bull shit. Looks like I rode over some thing and it put a hole in the tire. The part that bit me in the ass was i was on the way home form work I am tired and the tire wont seat back on the rim right. With the one co2 that I have I fill the tire and now have a nice bump in my ride. Made it home but still bull shit. The ride in to work was much better good climbing and much better luck followed by a doughnut. Plan tomorrow is to get a few hours in on the single cross see how the legs feel and get ready for the race in madtown. Not sure how i'll respond to the 60 miles on gravel.

Grey was the color of the day not the pastels of easter. I got to eat jelly beans while i spun, the jelly belly kind not bad, still like the Cliff blocks better. Sun Snow and some hills not bad not what was on the agenda but it worked. Dressed right of once but forgot the knee brace and for what ever reason my knee never hurt. Still think that i should wear it for a while. Warmer is on the way still only March, April should be better.

A bit of slacking this week is helping with the aches and pains. Who would have thought that playing at a water park would work the body so much. I am getting old. The Kids had a blast, james has great slide technique lay flat arms crossed. At time I felt like I was in a bad dream with loud noises and tons of people and kids dumping water on your head. Snow all across the area not as much here as there was in the Dells but snow all the same. Things are to dry up so maybe this afternoon after work i can get out. Their is a ride going on with BOB tomorrow I might make it a choose your own adventure out of it. Monday will start the end of the rest and back on the horse, that should make the body happy. I am digging this road shoe thing now just need insoles.

Ahh Crap

After dinner spin and i did not fell like I had any power, was able to generate a descent pace but could not light it up. The road shoes and pedals worked well still need to tweak those out. I think that I am going to have to wear my knee brace for a while again. I got this felling in my knee two years ago Doc PJ said that my petal was not tracking straight my father in law told me to wear a knee brace and that fixed it. We'll see if it works again. Might need inserts in my shoes.

Circle takes a Square

New to me I have been on road bikes now for about 10 years and have never ran road shoes, until now. I got a pair of shoes from work and a sweet pair of Ritchey pedals, so new to me. The only bummer is one of the cleats were cracked so no go tonight. I was going to give them a try on rollers. Taking easy with some stretching and chilling with the kids. Weather was supposed to be rolling through so I drove for the first time in a week doing my best to not drive. Talked with my 8 year nephew who has been ripping it up in Taos this winter, he was telling me about his jumping and gave him some pointers for landing his 360's. AH to be young again. Bikes and gear are moving folks are stoked that spring is here. So am I. Ride Rest Repeat.

Tony Orlando and Gone

Spoke to coach this morning talked bikes and kids and all that fun stuff. It always helps to hear from him he puts me in line and reminds me that I do have a clue of what I am doing. I do miss home did not fell like a freaky loaner, as i do here. Got the Lemond out and went road riding was shooting for 6 climbs and 3 hours, and came up short. I was dressed well but was cold had a hard time to getting warm, so I skipped the 6th climb because of the condition of the road and the fact that I was bonking. I am working on eating while on the bike and thought that I did a good job but I guess not. Breakfast was 3 whole grain waffles scrambled eggs and english muffins with a banana and orange before I went out. I guess not enough. I think that the tape worm is full effect. Riding gears was nice and can't wait until the new bike is ready to go. I put on a race x light saddle that I got for the new road bike on the lemond to start breaking it in...... it felt good.......my ass liked it. Good movement this week monday starts a new need to keep up the work seeing place that need improvment more saddle time to come just tired of being cold on the bike, warmer days ahead.

Puddles

Temps pushed into the tropical range today which meant the shop was extra busy on the eve of our big spring sale. Pushed the pedals a good bit today starting to break in my new shoes fit is good and they feel worlds better than my back up shoes. May have to break out the Lemond this week end and try for a 4 hour day, we'll see hard to be gone that long sometimes from the homestead. Gears could be a treat lots of single miles have been logged so far. Spring has sprung the freaks are out and so are their bikes, fresh from the snow bank.

James and the family stone

This he is the boy on his first ride outside on his new rig. Happy not to have to do laps around the living room. His sister has been loving her old Schwinn breeze that I brought home from work. It is only march but we are ready to go, good miles in so far now just time to put it all together. For me I wait for Sun Race to get parts so the Gunnar can start rolling, not ready to take it outside just want it together. Until the roads get clear the Lemond and Single Cross will do the work. Got to see my first Superfly today one of the hottest and most sought after bikes that will be in the store this summer. The bro-thers know what it is all about and will show the rest of us how to get it done this summer.

Miles come in waves and the smiles are there, Sleep comes in chunks and their is never enough. 91/2 hours last night left me wanting more. Warm temps bring out all the tri bikes and people in shorts. More is good spring is here.

can't feel my feet

The group rode well today the goal was smooth and not totally freezing. The smooth happened but the freezing that was another story. I was cold from start to finish only warming up as I went up YY which was a good push with the gear I have on. I have debated something bigger which would make max speed on the flats higher but would destroy me on the hills. Regardless it has been nice to be out now just warm up so i don't have to deal with the cold. King Cages should be here this week, best ever if you don't have one you need to get some, handmade and you will never drop a bottle. The good just keeps on rolling in.

Recession is shit

If beer prices keep going up i am going to have to start sniffing glue. Sun was out and got a good amount of vitamin D. Spring is coming the say that the temps are going to be in the 40's all next week. Warmer is better and more is better just not when it comes to the price of my beer. I have been riding in my old now back up shoes while i wait for my good shoes to get repaired. Bring it on.

New skid lid today I like starting the season off with a new noodle top and this one is by far the nicest so far from Rudy. Weather has been a bit crappy and cold can't wait until the days get longer the outside stuff is really nice and now have a set of road wheels with a bigger gear for the single cross. Good food rest and more to come.

Don't want to know if you are lonely

Spring sprung a bit today so it was time to get outside. The weather man talked about rain in the afternoon so I went after morning espresso. Good weather good tunes and fast rolling, and my good old riding partner.....perfect. Some hills some turkeys and bits of salt. Took some new roads and made so different turns so I have some better ideas of rides to come. The weather guys is still talking of snow/rain but not till tonight. Now I get some pork ready for shredding so we can have soft tacos mmmm food. Spring froward is next weekend I am ready.

March On

Salt is evil, I took the kids road bike in today and ripped it apart and the thing was coated with salt and crud, and she barely rode in and crappy weather this fall. Just think what it is doing to my gas powered machines. Just got done putting the new bits on the Wily looks great still have some time before the Maverick makes it on, closer to race time. Need to take it in to the shop and lube and polish mainly lube. My ride is not going to be as light as all the new rides for the Grumpy Ogars Team at the shop but still dam nice. I look to the day when the new Wily comes not sure when but it will happen this spring. Small builder take a bit more time and with me states away I can't drop in. All will come. 40's tomorrow with good chance of rain so I am going to try to get out before the weather, rain is good it will melt snow and wash away the salt. PBR time go fast and then go faster.

Going up

A bit cold on the way in but it was worth it. No gas burned, with the way everything is going up i don't know how I am going to survive. Gas, milk, Bread and of all things beer, while all this goes up my pay check does not. What can a man do. With all the new things in I smile, more seat time will make the voices quite. Weekend soon and more to come. Throw more money at Beer.

Sittin' here in limbo

First ride in the new kit from Matt, 30 miles and the scenery never changed got to love new shammy's. More snow coming and I am almost over skiing last sundays 40 mile single speed ride has me pumped. Dam I wish I could go to the desert this spring, All good things in All good time. More to come... want to break some dishes not sure what that means but sounds like fun.

Snacks

Daycare is sick with the Flu so the boy and I are hanging at the house. Snacking is the key today, and what better than leftovers from dinner last night. Umm Curry and rice&veggies. I think that it must be hard to be a 3 year old lots of emotions, All i did was take a bite of his muffin it looked so go. oh well. Some swimming and hoops. New stuff has been showing up thanks to everyone the Thomson stuff is so sexy, and the hub for the Maverick looks more drilled out than ever. Sun Race has their new web site up and is just finishing a few more things so parts can be order, cool stuff. And last but not least Matt sent up a kit from his bike Club/Team out of new mex.. Nice stuff got to like new clothes. And I still 4 cups of Red Curry sauce left luck me.

Solo x Solo

Again I can't say enough about the curry that I ate last night. Anna and I would once a week eat take out from a spot in breckenridge and always get the Red Curry. That being said it did as it always did and that is power me up. Had a good chat with Sophia's old bike coach today, he had just gotten back from two weeks in Vegas which made me want dry and desert.

Oh well that was not going to happen. So with the warm weather and sun I was out the door and the ride was nice. Took the work horse out and went hill climbing two good climbs and some mean wind when it was all done 2.5 hours one gear and now some beer. Back to the skis tomorrow going to keep it moving with the dreams of single track in my head. Could a Fall Classic be on my calendered? Need to see some old and new faces. Until then sit wait work and watch the new stuff come in. Going up!

My Thai

Big ski weekend in Wisconsin, not for me. I did head out yesterday but did not last long. Right wax wrong temps and not to mention that the trails had been ravaged by runners and hikers. Look like a war zone with all the pot holes. So that on top of the fact that my skis were not moving I called it. Played with james he and i went on a hunt for lemon grass. When you can't find good food you have to make it your self. So I did found all the stuff and made Thai Red Curry sauce. The real deal I have longed for Thai food and now I have it. Made enough to last me a few weeks. I will probably eat it faster than that. I will now drink more coffee and decide where to point the single cross. Good food and cure the winter blues, When in the hell is spring I am ready.

Could Ya !!!!

So here we have our answering machine from work. The guy on the other end put a down payment on a Masi Special Fix Gear Bike and wanted to ask us if we could do a few things before he came in to pick it up. Good stuff here and it just goes to show how hard core some fixed gear riders are. The time stamp is off we think that it had to be around bar time. He came in on thurs like he said and acted as if nothing happened. Only guy in town with the his bike we have our eyes out for him. Best phone call ever!!!

Cabin Fever

It has been fun to watch the Giro de California with all the new colors of the team kits it feels as if I am watch WWF wrestling. Been building bikes some nice and others not so nice. Even got to build some for the Lemonds. The word is that the cold should break soon it has been in the negatives for days. More skiing and cycling to come think that I am the only one in the Lacrosse valley that is not going to the land of the sun for spring break. I could sure get me some of that Upside Out this spring.

Big Chill

Been skiing a bunch even on the days that they haven't gotten to the grooming. Lots of snow so much snow that people are freaking out it has been 20 some years since they have seen this much snow. Nothing new to us used to being buried in the white. At every intersection the snow banks are so high that you have to pull out almost to the middle just to see if it is clear to go. New stuff is on the way and sending off other stuff to the team. The Big Wheel kits are and should be on their way, they had a large showing down at the 24 of old pueblo. The Maverick forks and hubs are also so to come. Going to mix it up a bit between the stiff and not so stiff, getting old and my body can only take so much. Talked with the boys at the HQ more new stuff coming out of them and another bit of press in the new Bike mag. So off to work I'll put some stuff in the mail and try to stay warm again the temps are below zero and the wind chill is even worse. Yea for Rollers.

And the race is on

Got done watching 24 solo. James got the itch to start doing laps. Can't wait to ride his new rig outside. That movie made me think that Craig was crazy to push him self that hard to end up in the hospital. Great ski this morning slow and cold right wax just wrong temp, felt like rolled up towels under the rollers. More snow on the way and dreams of single track in my head. Go check the guys a Twin 6 If you haven't it is time to step up and get some of the coolest cycling digs around. Plus they have new mouths to feed.

5 Golden Tuques

Yes this is how things are up in the land of the frozen tundra,, Beer Doughnuts and Bcak Bacon. Cold and snow and then cold again but that is what makes your skin thick. Could be worse could be racing a 24 hour race in the far south west with a winter weather advisory. At lest here you know what you are get your self into. So Take Off Ehh You Hoser.

Knee Deep ankle biter

This kid can ski,,Dropping into some nice power off the cornice above. I used to ski I used to do a lot of things. Stoke to see Mr T ripping it up. He is my Wednesday hero.. Red skies now with more snow on the way. Go/SKI Fast.

Pipes are Clean

With only one of these pretty ladies in the garage, I sip it and wait for the banana bread to come out of the oven. After a long day with waiting at the hospital the doc said that from what he could see every thing was clean. So now we wait a few more weeks and see if it was the 6MP. Stronger than I could ever think I was. Over 30+ hours of not eating. I can't make it 2 hours. 30 miles in one place wanting more. Snow tonight ski tomorrow. Falling in to place. Dammmm that banana bread smells good. Go Fast!

Heavy Circles

Wow that was cold, sunny but cold. Things should warm up and more snow on the way. The skiing this week was what I need and with more snow coming I think that I'll be back on the sticks. Want to get outside because the rollers are starting to get a little redundant. Today was just a nice recovery ride listing to the Velo pod cast. They had some nice things to say about Georgia and her success this year. She has been fun to watch and a good roll model for Sophia. Off tomorrow to take Anna in for a test at the hospital so if it warms a bit back outside if not back to the torture chamber

Slippery when frozen

Hard ski is what the doctor ordered. Hill repeats with recovery on the flats. Skis were moving fast, again thanks to the groomers and Clay for the waxing help. The building blocks are falling in place, which is good when the bigger blocks start to fall. And with Wah in the area the tempo should be High. Good food and some points should help me to sleep, tomorrow brings some nasty weather they are calling for -40 wind chills. MMMM good weather for rollers and hoops at the GYM. Go Fast!!

Muck

My rant yesterday was a bit of a chairle brown

moment.

After looking up from the ground I realzed that you

just need to take it as it comes.

The skiing was good today with

the exception of the full boot blow out, left boot has no more

zipper so now on with the duct tape.

Movement is good keeps the brain better than being stagnaet and on

the couch.

I dont think that the spell checker on this computer works.

I hope spring gets moving because i am ready, build bikes look at bikes

so I gave skiing a try. It was ok

My head spins as i try to figure out the next move. Knee

deep in the quagmier can't get things right.

faster than slow

Funny in a group how you can still be alone. That is fine, used to going at things solo. Lost a good biker today if you had a question he had an answer. Rest days don't happen to often and today is one can't wait to go to bed, belly fun and sleepy time it come. Left out well that might be the case but we will see who show up when it matter. Standing on the shoulder of giants we can see the wind blowing through the trees. Sticks are smooth when things are groomed.

Song #1 is not a FU song

I wanted to outside today, and I thought that skiing was going to be the ticket but still not sure about the conditions and driving to Winona, was not going to be happening. So ride a BIKE! I had so much fun yesterday why not. Took the single cross and headed north to find some hills. 50K in under 2 hours good fun, good times. Been listening to Man vs. Astro-man lately good stuff Garro turned me on to it years ago. For some reason I have the NHL ticket so been watch a lot of hockey been able to watch the Avs and the Wild and any other team on. Weather is going to do another weird shit here supposed to get freezing rain now ...Bull shit... Go Giants....

Oats for a Meal

Slower than I wanted but still fun to be outside. 3 of us showed up with the right weapons and the fourth came with a single cross and road tires. He did not make it for very long. Chad and I pushed on until the trail got to hard to spin on. The big wheels rolled well as long as they could stay on top. That seemed to big the big fight. Only went over the bars once it was a better option than going in to the ditch. Shit Happens............ The Wily handles the snow well But I think it likes dirt the best. Starting to get things into boxes to send off to the other two teammates. Skis tomorrow hoops tonight with the kid. Time spent now will help in the spring.. I hope spring gets here soon. The desert is to far away..
